....About the Niagara Frontier Chapter 

The Niagara Frontier Chapter was founded in 1936 to serve safety professions and members in related fields. The goal of our chapter is to provide professional development opportunities for its members through informative meetings and seminars and to provide services to the community in the field of safety. The general chapter meets monthly from September through May. We also have a sub-chapter consisting of area Contractors who also meet on a monthly basis.

American Society of Safety Engineers was founded in 1911, it is the oldest and largest professional safety organization in the world. Its more than 32,000 members manage, supervise and consult on safety, health, and environmental issues in industry, insurance, government and education. ASSE is guided by a 16-member Board of Directors, which consists of 8 regional vice presidents; three council vice presidents; Society president, president-elect, senior vice president, vice president of finance and executive director. ASSE has 14 practice specialties, 151 chapters, 28 sections and 58 student sections.
